About Us

The four of us were joined by childhoods in rural Nebraska, spread across the Midwest in adulthood, linked again in our thirties to think and write and share as mothers.
Our brains once were replete with ideas, poems and algorithms. Two decades, ten degrees and nine children later, those elements compete with playdates, girl scouts, soccer practice, piano lessons, housework, gardening, career growth and the minutiae of minivan life. It leaves us too often with, "it's ... uh ... uh ... what's that damned word ...".
